Asia Introduction

Asia is one of the 7 continents of the world. Geographically, Asia covers a lot of territories and unique places. Read the report below and the different articles it looks to to learn more about Asia's Geography.

Asia

The countries of Asia are wide & varied. Asia is often lumped together has part of the "East" but other than a convenient label, it takes a lot of study and experiences to truly understand the breadth and cultures that are part of Asia.

The continent of Asia already includes many countries, languages, and cultures. Populations, languages, and cultures become even more eclectic when you add the various island nations in the Indian and Pacific Oceans.

Borders of Asia

There aren't concrete borders to Asia. The continent itself spans from the Pacific Ocean and then East to the Middle East and Caspian Sea. The southern most point in Asia is in India, and then many of the countries in what is considered Oceania are closer in culture to the continent of Asia.

Where is Asia?

Asia starts West of the International Date Line and spans a giant continental steppe to the nations of Europe. Visit our report for more info about where Asia is.

Asia's Interesting Destinations

This isn't even a fair topic. There are so many ideal destinations in Asia- one would need to take multiple trips to dozens (possibly hundreds) or destinations just to get moderately experienced in the cultures and lifestyles in Asia.

Real high level, I'd recommend visiting some of the well known cities.

    • Tokyo
